Your LinkedIn headline is one of the most visible parts of your profile.
It appears in searches, comments, messages, and connection requests. Yet it’s often treated as an afterthought.
Most professionals fall into one of two traps.
They either repeat their job title and hope it speaks for itself, or they pack in as many keywords as possible and hope something lands.
Neither approach works particularly well.
A good headline answers three questions:
What do you do?
Who do you do it for?
What problem do you help solve?
This doesn’t mean removing keywords. It means using them with intention.
When your headline is clear, recruiters do less thinking. And that matters.
